Unit 3: Proofreading/Grammar

D.E.A.R. Drop Everything and Reflect

In this world of Texting, IMing, Blogging, Tweeting and FBing, you have to know an entirely new language to understand what your friends, family, and co-workers are saying. I finally figured out last year that my mother thought LOL meant Lots of Love. She was giving my cousin condolences for the loss of her mother and ended the text with an LOL. I had to explain to my cousin and my mother what the miscommunication was all about. With this in mind:

1. How important is GRAMMAR and PROOF-READING in your personal social media?
2. How important is Grammar and Proof-reading in your classroom blogs? Why?
3. How important is Grammar and Proof-reading for a Professional Graphic Designer? Why?

Be sure to answer all three questions to get your points!
